Community Program for UK Stores
Introduction
Shadow Contest is a new CCG looking to be driven by local gaming communities, rather than big-name brands and public crowdfunded campaigns. It all rests in the trust of boosting local game stores to promote the game to their audiences, and the game to promote the stores, working together to create a healthy growth of players and communities.
Understandably, the stores, without seeing the game in action, it is not realistic to expect backing for the product. At Shadow Contest, we are taking small but important, well-calculated steps to make sure we succeed as a card game in a tough industry; however, we are confident that success is achievable with our model. We plan on releasing more important information to increase awareness of the game, such as gameplay and so on.
The Program
First, and most importantly, being part of the program does not require you to commit to purchasing the product. Stores that are registered on the SCCP (Shadow Contest Community Program) are listed on our website.
What does it mean to be part of this program:
- You will be published as an official retailer of Shadow Contest on our website.
- You will get an additional discount on your first product purchase if partnered before July 2023.
- You will gain access to hosting organised play events.
- You will be able to purchase Shadow Contest products.
- You will be advertised as a partnered store on our social media pages.
- You will gain early access to product information as and when it is available.
Who can be part of the program:
- Stores addressed in the UK as of now until further expansion.
- Stores that are not online stores only.
- Stores that already sell card game products.
- Stores that provide playing areas for their customers.
What do we require:
- Once becoming a partnered store, we kindly ask you to disseminate our product, however, this is not compulsory, it is merely for the purpose of creating a bigger following and interest in the product.
- Once reviewing the product, show interest in purchasing the product for your store for its debut release. Again, this is not compulsory.
Our policy at Shadow Contest is to make our move first and allow you to gain trust in the product, not the alternative.
